United won their third consecutive Premier League title, finishing ten points ahead of Arsenal and further cementing their position as England’s dominant side. The campaign was built on consistency, attacking quality and the experience of a squad that had already achieved historic success. David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Andy Cole were among the key contributors, while Ferguson continued to get the best out of a settled and successful group. United had lost the 2000 Charity Shield 2–0 to Chelsea, but responded by producing another strong league campaign and securing the championship with games to spare.

Hi, I’m Dale

I’m the person behind MadeByDale and this website. It’s a passion project, built by a fan, for fans who love the shirts as much as the football.

My goal

To make the most fun and immersive way to explore Manchester United’s shirt history, season by season: every shirt, the trophies won, the players who made the difference and the stories behind each campaign, all in one place.

Keeping it going

The site is free to explore. If you enjoy it, an optional donation helps me cover hosting and domain costs and gives me the time to keep it updated, add more seasons and expand on specific years with deeper stories, stats and shirt details. No pressure at all: sharing the site with another fan helps just as much.
